About Us
Simon Wright, a director of SW Joinery, served a formal apprenticeship from 1977 to 1981 at DT Wright, a very well respected joinery company in Coventry. In 2002 Simon decided to build on his 25 years of manufacturing experience and SW Joinery was born in the March of that year.
SW Joinery grew rapidly due to Simon's strong reputation and connections within the trade. His joinery knowledge and principle of providing quality work at a competitive price led to the continued growth of the business, mainly through word of mouth recommendation.
In 2005 SW Joinery acquired Bodmin Joinery, a local firm also manufacturing quality, bespoke joinery. This acquisition helped to strengthen and grow the business further, giving SW a wider customer base, a re-furbished machine shop and a strong team of time served machinists & bench joiners.
